Been playing around with loads for my mates Ruger Ranch; 16" barrel with the 77gr Scenar.

Just struck on a load over the weekend that we have been working up to with GRT - hit 2730fps using Leverevolution. GRT puts this at approx. 57k PSI based on previous ladder testing and velocity data we have loaded in, at 98% case capacity.
This was not the top load GRT spat out either.

This is using PPU Brass; H2O volume of 30.4gr, OAL loaded at 57.5mm to fit the plastic STANAG mags.

I’m using .3 less ar2208 powder and a larger bushing for neck tension with Lapua brass compared to the FC, RP, and starline brass. Don’t have compressed loads anymore since the got chamber long throated for 80 grainers.
Now setting AOL 2.530” for all ELD-m 73gr, 75gr and 80gr using a Waterman magazine.
