Thread: Anyone have a decent Remy SPS 270 recipe?

Have a mate I'm going to do up some loads for his 270 ( yes poor bastard ) Ryan sent me some Berger 130gVLD hunters to try, so any info would be appreciated.

Did a load for a mates Rem XCRII 270. He's taken tahr and deer with it out to 500m.
Load was...
140gr Accubond
Fed Magnum Primer
ADI 2209 52.5gr
OAL 88.74mm

Very accurate combo, must say I rate the 140gr accubonds for 270.

This info was garnered through a T3 with 20" barrel and gunworks suppresor:

Accuracy load 130VLD Hunting, Hornady brass, 60.5gr 2213sc, CCI200 Primer, 3.290 COAL, 3060fps, .59" three shot group. Primers slightly flattened but backing off to 60 opened groups to .8

Thanks for the offer Rossco, but I've already sorted some dies & luckily have a supply of 2213 as thats what Tim eats ( 2213 seems to be pretty popular ).

Had a Sako Finnabear years ago that liked 57gn of 2213 and 130gn Seirra Gamekings.
