    She's a bit rooted. Pitting more than gas cutting per say.

    What's the impacts of this? Need to get fixed? How does one fix this? @Kiwi Greg??

    It would need to be welded up and then re machined to fix it.
    Or just keep using it.

    Headspace would need to be considered too I imagine? So not the racecar fabricator at his work doing it??

    Yes....it could be done measuring from a datum on the bolt but actually checking headspace would be best.

    As long as the firing pin still works then keep using it Gibo. You heard it first from VC and now from roughasguts.com
    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

    Interesting that this issue has raised its head again. Is it an old batch of primers? I have winchester LR primers but have not had any issues with the batch I have. Once I finish the 2000 I have, im switching to federal regardless.
