    electronic powder despinsers

Looking at getting one of these. Any ones to stay away from? Quite keen on a hornady one.

You like good stuff, ditch the Hornady and get a Lyman.

Lyman all the way. Takes up bugger all room on your bench as well
Had a fault with my one that I caused over time not cleaning the powder off properly. Sent back to Lyman and got brilliant service and free return.
Throws all powders I have run thru it accurately.

My lyman goes alright tho I have to have the "choke" in for all powders I run or it will overweight consistently, choke in all good.

I have gen 5. Here's a trick . To speed up the process just as it starts to pour if you re doing a biggish load have som powder in a nice container and as it starts add a scoop of powder. Mine picks up the weight added manually instantly doesn't pause if you are gentle and it halves the time to get the 70 + load dished. I can nearly keep up with the midget on the press . Tested it heaps on different scales still throws perfectly every load. When you re loading 100 plus minimum it really speeds stuff up !!

RCBS Chargemaster is also a good option.

It seems lyman and charge master review well generally.

I like this. I'm seriously considering a Lyman. I have good luck with stick powders but having to throw and weigh most charges when I want accuracy in quantity, sucks balls.
