    Actually bent the resizeing shaft on my 7.62x39 die (lyman) and yes it is boxer primed brass i think it must if been protruding out the bottom of the die and there for hitting the bottom of the case should of checked that ive seen broken decaping pins before but never this Reloaders had spare parts so not that un common??

    Don't feel too bad, I've done that before ............... Twice

    And I suspect many here have also experienced this at one time or another.

    The important thing is the learnings taken from the experience.

    BTW, Lee dies don't do this as the decapper is mounted on a slip clutch.

    yeah I don't relly like the set up on lee dies they aways seem to come lose for no reason
    in my hole time reloading ive had 3 broken decaping pins and one bent shaft I think that's pretty good
    I think if you take the time to set the die up properly when you get it you wont have any issues... but that's something I didn't do with this one it looked a little low but I didn't have a crescent in the shed to fix it and I thought well if I'm careful (famous last words) lol
