what powder measure should I buy?

Looking at a good quality powder measure for accurate consistent loads for long range shooting.
Have seen a marked price difference between Hornady l 'n l and Lee Perfect.
Is there any reason to buy the more expensive one?
Are there any others that are better?

I still use a Lee 2.8cc scoop and finish by hand sprinking.

Im going to buy a powder dropper just cant decide if the Lee one is good enough. Lee stuff is so hit and miss, its either great or crap.

Mine throws pretty damn consistently. I still weigh each round, Seldom have to add or remove powder

I just ordered the Lee for $49. I can't justify $500. The Lyman sure looks good though.

Let me know what you think of it. At that price I'd almost buy 3 and set up one each for the 3 loads/guns I do and never need to adjust it.

Will do. I'll use it combined with a powder trickler. It should be way faster than how I've been doing it.

As with most things you get what you pay for.

Personally "good quality powder measure" and $49 does not compute.

    YMMV

I have two RCBS powder throwers set up on my bench, one for small cartridges and one for the larger, they both throw within +or- .1gn, good bits of gear I reckon.

I have the exact same setup they work extremly well for my needs.
Velocity is thrilling, but diameter does the real killing.
