Who do i contact to ship stuff legally from the USA?

Hi guys, wasn't sure which thread to ask this.......

So i want to ship over from the states a "12 gauge to 209 Muzzle Loader Adapter" from Self Reliance Outfitters in the states (Dave Canterbury's store)

do i have to contact NZ Customs and/or my Arms Officer for clearance??????

They said they have no problem shipping, but Customs might confiscate......anyone had a similar experience???

If its for a A cat firearm you dont have to do anything. If NZ customs stops it they will send a letter to the address its going to and you then send proof(eg get your ao to email them) that its for A cat.

@sako75 its an adapter you put into the breech of your shotgun to allow you to muzzle load, then you open the breech and insert the 209 shotgun primer......only works in 12 gauge shotguns....CAT A....cheers mate

They have 20g too....makes it much safer to muzzle load, your not ramming the powder & shot onto a live primer.....

Looks like a good solution to the safety issue, the bonus is you can fire a couple of smokeless rounds after to clean it.
