    Clements Road, Kaimanawas about to get green rain????

    hi guys, just read an 8 page thread on the same subject at the other pub....been on the DOC website too...no joy

    as im planning my winter hunting and Clements is always on the cards, does anybody have 'reliable' information on this?
    While I might not be as good as I once was, Im as good once as I ever was!

    More than 8 pages now. Although it's at the personal insults level now.
    As per most 1080 threads on that forum.

    Ok, from horses mouth....Pines to the west of Clements were done a week or so ago with Toxic bait, all the rest is due to be done end of july/august. There are signs up which may give the idea it has been done.

    My first bush stalked one yeah, have been in Kaimanawa 4 times trying, Kaweka open and bush and only shot 1 other in kaweka 3 or so years ago

    Well done @HNTMAD thats one more Sika than me!!!!!...thanks for the update on the 1080 drop.....

    Just did 3 nights off Clements Mill rd, no deer seen, had to pull the pin saturday arvo, wind was stripping trees of their branches, was getting real hairy, had to move a large rotten tree from the road to get out!!!!

    Sunday was the day but still windy as hell! spooked 2 lots and almost had a crack at a good stag but he was too fast. No sign of the green stuff but plenty of warning signs around
