Cool stuff you see in nz

I was reminded of how cool nz can be last night when I came across this:

Obviously I'm not going to say where I was in case there are some Germans trolling this forum with two pairs of undies on.

Well done, their hard enough to see in an enclosure when you know they are there. Seen a few geckos in the wild but that would be awesome!

Some Kraut tried to smuggle one out of NZ, customs found the lizard in between two layers of undies

Oh, wow. That's fantastic... and a good sized specimen too. Lucky guy!

Now you've seen that one, chances are you'll start seeing more simply because you know where and how to find them. I'm definitely envious.

One of these and a kiwi in the wild are on my list that I'd love to see.

Kiwis are easy, just come to the island and go hunting in the bush on dusk.... Trip over the noisy buggers.

Seen these behind glass growing up but never in the wild
