First goat... With just a knife

I was doing some trail maintenance on land where I knew there were a bunch of wild goats but I'm not allowed to shoot there so all I had was a knife and a dream. One popped out of the bushes and took off, I crept up on it, somehow managed to catch the thing. Bled it out, took the good bits. Didn't think that I'd be able to get it without a dog, but you never know till you try.

    Well done Jake.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

Where there's a will there's a way. Nice work. In the past I've watched a nanny and kid walk past me 2m away and they haven't seen me.

I had that too.. Then I popped a broad head right under the nanny's elbow .

Ps that's freakin awesome, good effort. Bear Grills would be envious.

Yeah never really had much to do with goats so wasn't sure how it'd go. Better than expected! Wish it was a nice tasty nanny though.

Just go back again tomorrow then! I saw a cool old Country Calendar once about tagging Judas goats in the '80s. I'm not sure why but I think the scenes of the dudes in overalls jumping out of choppers and tackling goats was one of the funniest things I've seen in my life.

I have three settings on my knife. Stabbing is arm's length, cutting is bent arm's length and slashing is an extended arm's length.

should be in the movies ......rambo had to tie his knife to a stick and jump out of a tree .....but that could be an american thing (hiding in trees rather than stalking in)
