    Going for a door-knock exercise tomorrow morning up past Parakai way...

    Up near the skirts of Woodhill forest / South Head way... Are there any known firearm friendly farmers known in that area, or just hope for the best...?

    Good luck, I found some of the people I tried were even pissed off that I asked, quite a few sent me toward the paid hunting... I said no thank you

    almost stumbled upon one of those today, just past Huapai... least the mrs there was good about it.. ended up taking my number anyway... very confused after that!!

    Hmm, chances are, that area probably gets shot to hell, surely with the magnetism of Woodhill... I know in your prior posts re goats on private land near you, are out of reach...

    I tried a few places along West Coast road, with no joy..

    I know of farms that allow a few to be taken, a couple that need more than a few removed as they are a problem, you just have to get that foot in the door first

    And I haven't got my foot in yet

    Quite a lot of people go through there asking for spots to shoot, most of them already have quite a lot of keen people lined up.

    You might get luck at Komokiriki Hill - Poyner road. Or down Wech access then Burnside road.

    Or as you said most of the places west of Puhoi.
