    Hunting trip advise please

Hey guys, I'm after a bit of advise on an upcoming trip i'm organising for me and the boys , being stationed in Perth at the moment I don't get out half as much as I use to but I do a yearly hunt back home if nothing else. My question is this year I will be over later than the roar most likely (Around May) thinking about getting flown into Harkness Hut, Manson or Te Puke.

What are your guys thought for this area at this time of year?

    Cheers

You've got more chances of shooting a roaring Sika in that region during May by getting in there and doing it than if you stayed in Perth, that's 100% certain.

I'm sure others will agree that the better part of the roar will likely be over but you still get stragglers roaring well into May. Get into it.

Who knows when the roar is going to be with the way the weather has been this summer, for all you know they might just be cranking up

Ain't that the truth haha, Don't worry mate my wife cops the brunt of my complaining not being able to hunt much , what im more worried is the weather packing in and not being able to be picked up I would never hear the end of it from the other half as were only over for a couple weeks and a week of that ill be hunting

Te Puke, and from there you can do the Manson as well
    Great country for a hunt.
Have a poke around on the ridge behind Te Puke hut
    Good luck
He nui to ngaromanga, he iti to putanga.

You depart with mighty boasts, but you come back having done little.
Sounds like a typical hunting trip !
