Thread: Pig hunting Canterbury

Hey guys, I know this is a long shot but being new to Canterbury/Chch I am not familiar with hunting spots.
I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction for pigs. I was hoping to get out this fri(Showday)
as it will be the last chance I have to get a good hunt in before I become too pregnant to be useful. lol any help would be much appreciated.

Can't say anywhere around Christchurch is great but there was a fair bit of pig sign in the Mount Thomas Forest hunting area last time I was looking.

Believe there are a few on the clarance river down from the acheron confluence but it's on molesworth station

Are you looking for a spot to take pig dogs, or are you hunting without dogs?

Without, my dogs are in rotorua at the moment.
