Red face Te Tapui Block A access - HELP PLEASE!

2 weeks into the ballot season, anyone had any luck yet?

I have my ballot this weekend into Te Tapui Block A, does anyone know of any other public access into the block other than the reserve access off Piakonui Rd, which leads to the summiot walking track? or is this the only access, help much appreciated!!

That's the only access, unless you get permission from the farm owners that surround the block.
I missed putting in my application this year.

Waikato DoC office, the ballot application opens December and closes early January - would pay to check as I missed out this year by not getting in on time.

No, B Is accessed from the road side, there is a marked point where you cross a short section of farmland.

Anyone have any luck in the Te Taupi blocks or Te Miro blocks this year ? I hear there are a lot of fallow around the farms but never seem to hear of anyone doing well in the bush blocks.

Thanks, the working Monday - Wednesday explains part of the problem and now I don't have to ring the other Hamilton office 11 times before they finally answer and try to put me thru to Te Rapa!
