Thompsons track access

Does anyone knows if it's possible to head up thompsons track on a quad bike??

What side?

Will need your flippers on to get a quad up Thompsons from the Katikati side don't forget your live jacket

Yea I read in the past there's a few big bogs up there, so pretty much impossible from the kati side??

I was told in the weekend there are huge slips on the Waikato side and even a quad is dodgey

track is buggered was up there Sat... and there are no deer in the Kaimai's

So there are so many deer running around the Kaimai's now that DOC may go in and cull a few out ? I better start hunting there again.
