    Waimak wild sheep

    Hi all

I have just been looking through the DOC website and came across mention of wild sheep along the waimak river and it said most were on private land but gave no mention of contact numbers.
Am going to go door knocking shortly but was wondering if anyone had an idea on an area to start asking?

thanks in advance for any information

So how do you tell if it's a wild or just an excapee?
    Unshawn and no ear tag?

I'm no farmer and correct me if im wrong but I believe if their tail hasn't been docked it's a pretty good bet they are wild.

If an unshorn, undocked, untagged sheep falls in a forest...
