Thread: Waimatai Sika hunting

HI All going in next week for 4 days after sika
Landing on the Waimatai helipad and using as a base. Going with helisika

Any good spots to save me doing massive leg workouts. Dont mind fly camping so will be taking all the gear to stay out as well.

We flew in there many years ago when this pad was just put in heaps of deer but most of them reds only saw and shot 1 Sika. Quite steep in places sorry not much help as was a long time ago.

Thanks chaps will do a fly camp around any deer is good but sika would be nice as have not shot any yet
