Have most of April off - Into the Ruahine's for a week on Reds, then chopper into the Kaweka's for a week on the Sika.
April seems to come around faster every year.

Bloody F ing F all. Just been informed the missus is working the two days of easter to make a overnighter impossible. and working at least one day of every weekend of April as well as the usual night every week day.
Two more years and they will both be at school and she can get a more normal job. I cant bloody wait this is driving me nuts(for the last 3 years)"Hunting and fishing" fucking over licenced firearms owners since ages ago.

I dont do land jobs sorry - will have to chalk this one up as a loss and add it to the Alaska trip

The plan at this stage is to try our luck over the next few weekends in different spots. Easter weekend I have an idea of where I want to go, I'm sure there will be other people there so a plan B may need to be hatched.
A shambles really... Thought I'd be more prepared this year but no!
