    17 HMR

    Hey Guys
    I am after an accurate, bolt action 17 HMR.
    Just seeing whats out there and if anyone has something they may want to shift.

    hi ive got a savage r17 brj 3 colour laimante stock, twist barrel accu trigger its new never been fired some good pics on google of them its got a basic 3x9x12 scope i think

    Jeez Major you are as bad as me. I got gifted this last September and to my extreme embarrassment I still haven't put a round through it.

    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
    Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
    Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
    Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
    Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
    Rule 5: Check your firing zone
    Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
    Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

    Thanks Major but I have had one in the past, I was unlucky and it didn't shoot well. From what I understand you get get a good one or an average one. Thanks for the offer though mate it's very appreciated.

    CZ455 Thumbhole Varmint(heavy barrel), scoped, with Gunworks surpressor, 2 x 10 and 1 x 5 shot mags, $700 accurate as!

    My one hates the 20 grain ammo but shoots like a laser with 17 grain CCIs. But yes that has been my experience of Savages in general after owning quite a few.

    Mate that would be perfect except I am a Leftie and I don't think the Thumb hole stock will work otherwise I would be very keen.... Bugger

    And this is the reason I haven't brought it

    +1 for the cz455 though, waiting for boyds to have a left hand stock and I'll be a happy man
