    45 rimmed brass

Looking for some 45 brass, min length 44mm, think it will fit my 12.17 x44R rolling block.
Also any 50 cal soft nose projectiles x 440 grains approx, jacketed soft nose. Act dia .510"

45/70 is close but no, 50/70 is another option, I have some 12.17 cases but the end is slightly to thick to fit the chamber.ie the rolling block will not close flush and lock,

Is the rim too thick or the case head too thick ? If its the rim a wee bit of lathe work should fix that ??? And a sizing die for the case head shouldnt be too hard to make.

The cases I have are stepped base ie I have machined the rim, I cannot machine the base as it buggers the depth of the primer pocket. I may revisit this a skim a bit more off the rim. Thanks
