    FS : Trueflite UM .308 barrel

    28 inches excluding current tang

    1.5 inches of knox left

    looks like a std Palma profile

    1.216 dia at knox, 0.750 at crown, 0.820 behind sight flat

    had around 1500 rounds on it when I got it, and I shot with it for 1 season, so probably around 3000.

    set it back and you will get at least another 1500 - 2000 rounds out of it

    13 twist. this one stabilized everything up to 185 Juggernaut (could not get Hybrids to work well). superbly accurate barrel, only selling as I now have 2 "spares".

    $ 150 shipped, or pickup Upper Hutt / Welly CBD (near TSB arena)

    Currently threaded for Nielsen adaptor on Omark. I think the one you saw was my 1st Lilja, so after this one.

    Mmmmm......could fit mine, as it's got a Nielsen adaptor already.
    Just need to shoot its existing barrel 1:13 twist - Unknown brand.

    Hi, is it a tight bore of a normal bore?

    @Friwi, no idea sorry. Barrel was given to me by another target shooter, so not new when I got it.

    @ebf
    E - were you shooting standard diameter 308 bullets or specials?
    That might help @Friwi to come to a decision - and stop me daydreaming

    Wally, most of the jacketed projectiles have a standard diameter. Where I have hear of diameter differences is in how you size cast projectiles.

    So to answer your question, I was shooting "standard" diameter 308 projectiles. They were on the heavier side, so the chamber throat was longer than a normal Palma95 reamer.

    "Tight" barrels are reasonably common in target shooting, as they allow you to gain some extra speed. A normal 308 barrel would typically calmly measure 308 across the grooves and 300 across the lands. A tight one might be 299/307. Hope that makes sense.
