    Mauser M96 6.5x55 and scope

    Few items for sale.

Mauser M96 in good condition, Timney Tigger, new bases and rings as per the thread here:
Mauser 96 6.5x55 cheap but cheerful
Shoots 1.5" @100m with a shit rest, I have full confidence it will shoot better off a bipod or sandbag.
Will come with about 50 or so cases for free. Can provide loaded ammo for cheap.

    $400

Zeiss Conquest 3-9x40 with the R600 Plex
Some rubbing on the outside (lable) but lenses are mint. Will upload a few pics tonight. Comes with orignial box too.

    $600

To clarify a few things, the saftey on the Mauser does work, just not with a scope (as the saftey flag is too high, you could grind it or replace it)

The streak marks on the last photo of the scope are just from cleaning it, there are no marks on the lenses. No marks on the tube, just the lable that is worn due to being right handed from carrying my rifle.

    Rifle: $350 ono
    Scope: $550 ono

I know a young fella who might be keen. I wont be able to find out for a few days, but if you are not in too much of a hurry the 6.5 would be just the ticket for him I reckon.

No rush. If it's going to a newbie that ammo is free.

Thanks Timmay - not exactly what I'm looking for unfortunately for me because the price seems spot on...

    Cheers

If I didn't already have a PH 308 in the safe - this would be on it's way to me, minus scope.
Had an M96 full wood Swede 35 years ago - never should've sold it on.

Yep - along with the Rem 700 22/250 I had in New South Wales, the Ruger M1 replica in 223......ah - better shut up, I'm crying over all the blunders I made as a young bloke.
