    -Price (compulsory)
-All specific and relevant details - for example, for a rifle - calibre, make, model, condition, features
    -Decent photographs
    -Your preferred method of contact

Your For-sale post WILL be removed if the above guidelines arn't followed

We are very lucky to have this feature
It means we can all sell things for less than we would on a popular auction site, win win for all
Totally agree on the photos, we all have to no it exists.

A note: If selling a rifle, "extras" and modifications do not necessarily confer any additional value above the price of the rifle. A large portion of buyers may not be interested in your "extras", and in the case of modifications, they may actually decrease the value. It's not a simple equation of money spent = what it's worth resale. You're better off selling "extras" separately to access a larger pool of buyers who don't want the hassle of getting rid of them after they buy the gun.

What redress does one have if the deal goes sour...I have had two that didn't go as well as I would have wished for. At least dealing with the likes of Trade me one has the option of checking feedback on a seller before deals are made and the option of leaving feedback whether happy or otherwise.

The same options you'd have if you sold something to someone you met on the street or through classifieds in the newspaper or a magazine, or whatever

Sure, probably start your own thread in the buy, sell, swap section. Apply the logic in Gimps first post above for better results.
