    WTB gun rest

    looking for a front and rear bag rests for sighting in and maintance of rifles

    anyone got a set lying around i can buy of them?

    Don't be lazy just make your own.
    Cut the legs off an old pair of jeans and fill them with wheat.
    Works as well as any store purchased item and Soooooo! cheap

    hmm might have to give that a go, will have to find an old pair of jeans, i dont have many but the missus does...

    I would recommend an inner plastic bag, keeps it dry, or use air soft plastic pellets.
    Also an old car jack attached to a block makes a good adjustable front rest.

    Even better, get a 300zx jack, they are extruded aluminium and perfect for lugging around in and out of car boot etc

    Owning one of those you do a lot of lugging tools in and around it

    I nicked mine out of a write off that came into work to have it's motor yanked to be put aside to be put in something else later on (no insurance on ze racetrack hahaha)

    Air soft pellets sound good, might have to try that, sand sucked. Gonna try one with this stuff from Kmart called moulding goo, it's sticky little balls of polystyrene that should be really light and mould into shape well

    have a 20kg bag of rice thats getting a bit old. that should do the trick

    I use crusher dust in a couple of bread bags. Works well.
    Why do people that can't take advice, insist on giving it?
