Thread: 30 Cal suppressor for .223?

    It does make sense to use a .30 calibre suppressor on a .223 AR

    Sound wise it will most likely not make a difference as the main noise source to the shooter is the action, especially on the ejection port side.

    You may even have a slightly better suppresssion at the right ear with a larger calibre suppressor = less pressure back in the action.
