    .510 WSM build

    Is anyone game enough to put a .510 WSM on a new brake-action Bergara 45-70 B13? I.E. Like the SSK Thompson .510 whisper brake-action.
    Thoughts appreciated.

    At least trueflite make the barrel with a 1 in 9 twist for the subsonic. You could also ask the question to grant at trueflite .

    Hi Brendon.
    Yes I got the revised reamer a couple of weeks or so ago its working well.
    I need to do some more load development & function tests with brass lengths etc.

    I have only shot the 750 Amaxes so far.

    I have some expanding Lehighs to try once I get the amaxes squared away.

    All sub-sonic, not interested in super, even though it would go fiarly well it would kick worse than a Mule, over 1900 ftlbs at the muzzle sub-sonic.

    Its on a Tikka action, standard magnum bolt face.

    Look forward to the write up on that bad boy, will be interesting to see the damage on animals with the Lehighs 725gr CF, should be plenty of grunt for even samber and waps.

    Hey KiwiGreg, what would the rough price be to have a 243 re chambered to 243 AI? its a brand new rifle still. just messing with some ideas
