    597 cocking handle

    i pulled apart my mates 597 and the cocking handle wont stay in, any ideas on a fix
    My favorite sentences i like to hear are - I suppose so. and Send It!

    There is a small spring clip in the bolt.
    Make sure it's still in there and that it's not broken or damaged.

    Go to Model 597 - RimfireCentral.com Forums and ask on there if anyone has had something similar happen and if there is an easy fix. Otherwise email Outdoor Brands and see if they have any parts available.
