@cambo Bipod still holding up? I'm considering purchasing one off DHGate.com - roughly $80nzd at the moment.

I saw some of the knockoffs and quality of construction and materials was poor compared to the real thing, buy the real thing and support the people making a good product and doing R&D on new ideas IMO

I did my first hunting trip with the knock off on Friday. My conclusion is not enough extension and too much weight for hunting with the .17hmr. I will go back to my b-square which is lighter and quicker to deploy. I like the leg extension mechanism but the range is limited. I will move it on to the AR for a range test.

Forgot to mention that I chucked a couple of rubber o-rings into the pan/slant mechanism to stop it slipping. worked well but I will be trying some other mods.

Yup still holding together. Given it a pretty good work out on the AR and the wmr and it works well.
Compared to a buddy's genuine Atlas, the build quality is very plain to see but the Chink copy seems to hold up OK for what I'm using it for anyway.
Don't know if I'd try it on a bigger cal but for the 223 and wmr it is fine.

If anyone is wondering how to attach the bipod to a standard swivel stud, you will need one of these....
Weaver - Tactical Scope Mounts - Picatinny System

Sportways have them normally. They don't sell to public so you will need to go into your local hunting store and ask them to get you one in.
