I'm a little out of date with what the current hassles of importing a stock from the USA are.
Looking at a B&C for my Tikka T3 from Redhawkrifles.com (if they'll ship...) Are there currently any issues at the NZ side of things other than GST?
Open to other suggestions for a lightweight/stiff stock but cant really justify the cost of the locally manufactured carbon ones, as lovely as they look.

No permit required to import in to NZ, but any firearm part including stocks over US$100 value require an export permit from the US.
arhh... I see a problem there then!
Red Hawk won't ship here any more, having got burn't by US authorities. You can get B&C stocks from
Prophet River Firearms in Canada. I took the "surface post"option to save money but it did take nearly
