@Nibblet has his R8 6.5x55 sitting in my safe, they're seriously nice pieces of kit, not sure they're worth the financial raping but certainly the nicest rifle I've ever handled, very practical.

    Possibly, how much you got?
6.5 swede barrel, 7mm rem mag barrel, two QD mounts with 34mm rings, both threaded for 14x1? (Sako thread), ase utra sl7 suppressor for rem mag but run on both barrels and a shit load of brass and projectiles for both cals, and maybe some dies.

@stug I've got a spare 1" mount I'm not using at the moment if you want to borrow it to have a play until you get one.
Shut up, get out & start pushing!

A few years back Blasers marketing department decided to focus on gay hunters, it was a master stroke and has paid big dividends for the brand.

They do handle nice, but it's still only 1 action & stock with different barrels & bolt heads & magazines & scope mounts & scopes & etc etc. I don't see the point when you can have all that in just as many stocks & actions......I like seeing lots of guns in my safe, not one and some spares for it Each to their own.

I think there main advantage is for European hunters who are only allowed to own a small number of rifles. The barrels are not counted as different rifles so they can shoot a number of different calibres without a problem.

Also nice having the same feel for every caliber you pick up, its the same stock, fits the same way in your shoulder, same eye relief etc once you set them all up.
Otherwise its 5 different cals, but all tikkas if you want the same feel. And then, well your safe is full of tikkas?
