Yeah I think it's changed now, I did see the message but not any more, and I see they haven't added NZ to the list of countries they'll ship to

    Boyds:

    Order up boys and girls!
I'm new to this stuff. I have a Ruger Hawkeye. If I order a laminate stock, should the action drop straight in? What about bedding (don't be rude). Is it still a pressure point bedding, but on a more rigid laminate stock?

Yep, should drop straight in, pretty sure all the boyds are free floated, bedding would probably be a good idea but not essential.

Mmmm. May consider this. All I have to do is practice more until I deserve a laminate stock.

Help please I'm going to get a new stock for Remington 700 270 , I like the look of " prairie hunter " is that a good choice ? Or there is a classic ? . How much do the weigh ? Will they be heavier than plastic stock ? . 270 do I order long action ?

Go their website and type in your make, model, type of stock etc and they should have something to suit. Mines a long action, hinged floor plate. Awesome fit although when I bed it I will need to sand a wee bit in the bolt closed recess.
