Bringing rifle magazines back into the country....?

I can get Tikka T3 magazines at reasonable prices over here in the UK.

What's the deal with bringing back a magazine or two with me when I return to NZ in my luggage? What about if I post it back in the mail?

    Cheers,
    Pop Shot

You'll be fine on NZ end probably, A cat etc.

Might be illegal to export them from the UK without permits though.

Ever thought of posting them back to yourself.

Yeah - was wanting to know whether they would get picked up or not first before sending them.

I posted some back from the US last year, the day I left, filled out the UPS slip as magazines, all kosha and they arrived at my home address a few days after I got back.
Saved like about 1000% on what the robbers wanted here.

That's the information I was after... I might send a few back the day I leave here as well.

Not huge savings - but good savings to be made all the while.
