    Oh, and while I'm here.... hijack..... I'm now at about the 5th year of looking for a side mount for my Sportsman15 - or some way to get mounts on it without wrecking the look of the gun.

    Are you looking for a Parker Hale PH16a?
    They pop up on trade me occasionally, I got one for $100, have seen sportsman 15s with the ph16 fitted sell for cheaper than the aight alone

    I scored a complete Sportman 15 a while back fo 100 bucks complete with the PH16a. I was only after the sight to go on a Sportman 5! I was chuffed.
