So last weekend I had a choice of Winchester 555 bulk pack or the Remington bulk pack.

Too Tight to buy .22 in boxes of 50.

I chose the Winchester and guess what?

Bloody misfire after misfire in both my S&W41 pistol and my Remington 552 Speedmaster rifle

I wish they'd bring back the ICI Rabbit board ammo that's all I can say.

I've shot 1000's of the 333 or 555 Winchester stuff and thankfully have hardly had any misfires, plenty of subsonics though.
Is it possible that it's the guns not the ammo to blame?

I've had a few 333 boxes and I don't think I've ever had a miss fire, with any ammo that I can think of. May be a common problem here, your pin is to short

    Sent from my workbench
If i could have a full time job shooting pests i'm up for over time.

Now you have two, tip them inside down, attach a loop of string thru the base long enough to reach your hands, insert feet and you'll be 6" taller

You could do that.....but I would run a long length of string through a small hole in the bottom of each bucket then pull tight...
You then have a nice larger but cheep to run smart phone
the batters won't go flat and it won't mind if you leave it out in the wet

It was the only ammo I have had trouble with in my 10/22. A few split cases which got stuck as a result.
When it worked (99% of the time) it was accurate, and killed good.
