Very light projectiles for shooting at range(presume long range rather than at the range?)

Yup, but the first 500yds or so they'd be going like a laser beam, flat and straight

I couldn't find enough 162 Amaxes for my 708, so launching 120 noslers at over 3000fps... Distance wise you only notice it beyond 900, wind is several more clicks, but that's the price.

Yeah, but as has been commented, they scream out and shoot flat for the first half a km. I have a couple of other projectiles that I will try when given time, Nosler 155gn Custom comps, (nice and cheap at 100 of our dollars for 250) 165gn Barnes Tsx, might be a bit hard way out yonder, but Ill give em a go anyway. got a mate who is going to give me some other stuff to try as well.

thanks all for the other comments, and yeah I do go through a fair bit of duct tape. Doesn't get much time in the ute, yet.

Dont waste your time chasing every last fps, it doesnt matter in the real world, it wont make a difference, all it will do is cause head aches and frustrations. And dont listen to silly old cunts

A 178gr Amax would even be a decent bet if the 208's didn't stabilise. Buck the wind & gave a shitload more downrange thumb than any 125's!

After hearing very good things about DPT's suppressors, I asked Darren if he was able to make one in 14x1 left hand thread for my new NHM90 (chambered in 5.56). He'd never done one before, but bought the left hand tap so he could (top bloke). Got the call on Thursday saying it was ready, but I had a motorcycle race meet on so couldn't get these before the long weekend. Dropped in there today and got the suppressor fitted up. Very impressed with the result. Hopefully get to test it this weekend.

Now that he's got the L/hand tap, please let everyone you know that has a factory threaded AK47 or variant, that DPT is able to make a quality suppressor for their needs. Don't make mine the only one that he'll ever use the tap on.
@peril 787b did you get that stock cheekpiece separate or was it already on the stock?

The ATI stock has the cheekpiece moulded into it. The "regular" dragunov stock that gun city have doesn't.
