    G'Day Wirehunt,

I imagine they could cope with that kind of workload!
The toughest work out I have given one, was with one of my earlier models and a select fire M4.
This was not my rifle (or ammo, Yip Yip Ya Hoo!) but I was given it and a full 30 rnd mag, which I put through it in a series of burst.
The first few bursts were all 6 to 8 shots, then as I got used to the trigger on the (Stoner SR 16) rifle, the last couple were 2 and 3 shot bursts!

Whilst I have not yet had the opportunity to similarly test my current All stainless Cans this way, I'm booked in to do another test, with these same people!

I have to say, I was a bit overwhelmed at the above outing, as I was so pleased that my design worked so well (especially on full-auto)!
So I hope at this next outing, I'll be a bit more composed and be able to actually TALK and not be like a School Kid in a Lolly Shop!!!

Wirehunt, the short answer is No, at present, all of my suppressors are forward mount Cans!
I'm a realist and because of this, I realise that this design of mine, may only be compatible, with smaller capacity (up to 50 grains of propellant?) cartridge cases!

When I get the time, I plan to sit down and work out how to put together a Can for my .340 Weatherby.
I hope to use this rifle and 225grain bullets, as my simulation of a .338 Lapua shooting 250grainers!
Only time will tell but this should answer, quite (pun intended) a few questions for me!!!

    Doh!

    this is my latest.

Howa ranchlands in 7mm08. DPT suppressor, Harris bipod, Nikon Buckmaster 4.5-12x40 scope, 10 round mag kit, home made sling, Carsten cheek rest. I want to get a new stock, have been looking at hightech ones, and will probably order one very soon. I have emailed Vulcan barrels about getting a new barrel. Not much difference between a vulcan barrel, and a trueflight one. Decisions?

Just another mongrel parts gun. DMPS lower. DSA upper receiver, LPK, Hogue grip & ACE stock from Brownells, $400 no name barrel off TM, YHM gas block, front & rear sights & other bits I had laying around. Just looking for a decent muzzle device for the business end.

How'd you get the stock from brownells? They wanted export paperwork from me to get one and I couldn't be arsed so bought one from Australia instead for like fifty bucks more

They never asked me for paper work. I've got 2 of them so far. Just made sure the order stayed under $100US.

I will add that customs asked for an import permit for the first one. I just emailed them back to tell them it was for an A cat rifle & it arrived 2 days later.

My problem may have been that my order was around $800, then.

"Stone Free", made by "Homer" on this forum. Very compact, stainless steel, $$, haven't fired it yet. Going up to the range today if I can be bothered.

I'd be interested to hear what the back pressure is like. The HRE AR can is alright. Over gasses it a bit (could tell from the ejection pattern changing from 4 to 2 O'clock). Mind you this was with a middy so could be worse with a carbine

    Expensive or cheap?

Also, what scope is that? Trijicon?
