    Yip a Savage 14, its a nice rifle - bit heavier than some alternatives but well balanced and confidence-inspiring to fire. Can't blame the rifle when I miss things though!

    I agree that a matt black scope would suit the look better, but the Nikon Coyote Special is decent glass and was a bit of a bargain (bought from @SlimySquirrel if I remember correctly ) Quite a different reticle design, not ideal for target shooting but good for hunting once you get used to it.

    Another savage... 116fcss in 30-06, boyds stock turned up today, it's always a bit of a gamble with them but this ones real nice, have some talley lightweights to go on and it will be off to Robbie at gunworks for cut to 20" and suppressor this week.
