Thread: Left handed 17hmr

It could be done but I wouldn't feel comfortable with it I did the opposite when looking at 17 and went the hornet instead it was a challenge to get an accurate load sorted I use it for med range rabbits hares and magpies also shot goats with it as well I've got 2 hornets one day one might get made into a 17 Ackley

Looked at an Ackley but performance isn't much better than the 17 hornet, which is much farther ahead of the HMR. The downside for me is having to capture the brass after each shot, drives me nuts out rabbit shooting, there was a nice Weirauch Ackley for sale here but do not know if it's still avail under $1500 with heaps of brass
