Norinco jw 15 22 barrel length advice.

Hi, was wanting some advice on barrel length for my 22 I have tided up. I have bought a hushpro Rf2 overbarrel suppressor it is 200mm in total length and goes 50% over the barrel, the barrel is standard length. I was wanting it to be back close to the stock so it is nice and short so barrel would be cut to about 14-15 inches. Is this to short? Gun is for shooting a few targets but mostly bunnies with my boy. Cheers any advice would be awesome.

From what I've read, 14-15 inches is completely fine for a 22LR.

EDIT: I should mention, I had subs in mind when I was looking for info. You might need a bit more barrel for ideal results on faster loads.

I have a jw with the full over barrel suppressor. The barrel is only about 11 inches and it seems to allow the bullet to escape very near the packet stated speed. It's very accurate to so hope that helps with your decision

14-15" is what I have too on my JW and it works way better than the price tag would suggest.

I think anywhere between 12-14 inches would be very good .

We've modded a heap of them and 15-16" works a treat. Makes em perfect little truck rifles and they retain very good accuracy at 50m and 100m.
