thanks for sharing - great info for some one starting off wanting to improve their game. I like the simple stepwise approach. One suggestion from the first video - safety wise for young hunters viewing this - I'd recommend having the bolt open when waving the rifle around. Found myself ducking a few times

it looke like to me ( correct me if i am wrong here ) that cutting a new crown had the most improvement, the suppressor just made it nicer to shoot . . . good videos i will watch with much interest.

ditto the nice look can . . . that burr on the front not so much tho.

    cheers R.

Um... na man just watch the clip again maybe.

I shoot groups re-crowned then walk forward fit the suppressor then shoot the next lot of groups.

it actually went down like this ...

Dude - "hey man I'm in welly what you up to?"

Doc - "cool dude I'm just about to go shooting ill pick you up in a tick..."

Dude - ..."ah its pretty cold and I don't have appropriate gear man.."

Doc - "Dude! the range is pretty much a golf course and you can just wear the liner from my old jacket - no ones gonna see you dude, stop being a pussy..."

cheers . . my mistake, thats what happens when i try to watch the vid while doing something else at the same time.

that is a fantastic improvement with the suppressor on . . is that what you would expect because its a Big kicker of a cartridge ?

I think suppressed rifles shoot well for a number of reasons -
actually I will probably stop and do a video summary before carrying on with the next lot of mods.

I was surprised to see how much difference the suppressor made, biggest improvement by far. The recrown looked like a small gain at best. I have moved to doing all load dev without suppressor or brakes to avoid excessive carbon build up and get down to 0.3 - 0.6 Moa in pretty much all cases, even with some light weight rigs (6 lbs bare rifle).
then fine tune final load with suppressor for poi. Have not noticed a big improvement in groupings l guess I must have developed a fair degree of recoil tolerance
