    Remnington barrel go onto a Sako 75?

    As title says, will a Remington Barrel go onto a Sako 75 rifle and if not can it be re threaded to do so?

    It should with a good gunsmith who can pick up the thread and reduce it down to the Sako dimensions. It would also need a touch up of the chamber with a reamer for proper headspace. Only worth doing on a nearly new barrel that you know shoots well.

    It may end up being a false economy. Run the numbers via a gunsmith first to avoid disappointment.

    That carbon barrel was sold a month ago for $600+
    And now somebody got it for $315. They either got a fantastic bargain or a very flash tomato peg:-)
