    Swaro Z5

After initially dismissing the Z5 the more I look the more I am interested. It ticks a lot of boxes for me with reasonable weight @ 15.9oz, good zoom with the 3.5-15, smallish objective with the 44mm obj and the DT turret can be re jigged to be a bit more practical.
Some firsthand feedback would be nice if anyone out there has one that they could share, especially the BT turret. No windage turret but the 4W recticle should sort that out.
Plan to put in Talley rings.

Im waitng on one, about a month away aparently.Rumour has it a bit of a shake up at swaro and the high NZ dollar will give a significant drop in the local price.Im holding off importing one based on what Iv been told. The balistic turret will be replaced with a custom.

You buying locally or from offshore? I have found an Austrian connection that may pay off handsomly.
Do you know if the custom turret can be made for MOA divisions rather than drop. Being stuck with one bullet would be a touch painful. Outdoorsman do them for Swaro now I read.

Local price is better than I can import for.Yes you can get an MOA or custom bullet dials but its one turn only giving 13 moa in total IIRC.

13MOA is not too flash. Specific details are hard to find. The Optic Planet spec list total elevation of 58" @ 100y or 16MIL (1.6m @ 100m). Correct me if i am wrong. i will have to do the numbers to see if 13MOA is enough. Would hope they are more than single turn.
