Got a suppressor coming and need Jo cut the barrel length. How short can I go?

I'd like to shorten mine to 24". Unfortunately it only started out at 22".

Yeah. You could chop it but I wouldn't go any shorter than 24".

have you tried crushing up some of those "blue pills" and adding them to the powder, might work

Mine is 21.5" still get over 3000fps with a 168gr berger

@Kooza has a 20" 7RM, still gets 3k with the 162 Amax I believe

Mine is 20" t3 best load is just under 3k was others above but group size opened up. 162 amax.

Is the guts of the supressor likely to erode quickly due to the fierce muzzle blast/incomplete burning of slow powder? I had wondered what happens to the suppressor when you shorten a big boomer, a lot of short .284's are floating about

It's a Scott Trail one we'll ask about that when he fits it. Won't be firing hundreds of rounds.
