    Thanks for the write-up C. Saddened though to see that the mighty 6.5-06 has been retired - surely nothing here that a suitably constructed 140gr@3000 couldn't have taken ?

    ha ha , the 6.5 06 is still in the quiver, but I am really pleased with the results from the ttsx 110 grain bullets doing 3700.it just anchors everything on the spot. huge shock . hows the skylights going ?

    Just about to put in a sixth, low pitch again with the custom flashings.

    I shot a few deer with the original 100gr-X in 7mm at a 3800mv and they went down quickly enough as you say. I've gone the other way though and retired the 280imp in favour of 6.5. You'll see reason soon enough I'm thinking
