Had a SL100, first XL125, MR175 Elsinore myself. Those early Honda 4 strokes were hard on heads if the cam chains were over tensioned!

Well mate, the Ducati is a beautiful piece of bike indeed, spendy, and well built.I did look at it,and if I was a younger fella,I probably would have purchased it,it's just not my riding style anymore. The valkyrie is a 2014,right out of the box,I believe the ozzies are getting the 2017s,the yanks aren't,they flooded the market over here and still have heaps in the boxes.

They tried to sell this bike to the millenials,it never worked, the kids want crotch rockets,so the dilemma for Honda is to get rid of them...CHEAP!!..... they were selling for $18,500 USD,, I was offered this bike, and let me tell you,it has everything,,for $10,500,out of the box.Took one for a test ride, fell in love with it.The Honda dealer also gives a warranty that's out of this world, plus oil changes for the first 20,000 miles.....my issue with it,....after market add ons,not many but they are coming around.I could go on all day,but it's one of the finest bikes Honda has ever made... cheers

My current. Thirsty as fuck, louder than hell ,quicker than any Harley I ever owned by far , lumpy cams idles like a single cylinder diesel pump motor , goes round corners like a two storey bus... All making it fun as to play with ...

Yep apart from the paint job, everything else was a bolt on part supplied by a custom parts outfit.

Could not see anything fabricated just for this bike.

I love the old Indians! I sold my old 741B for 6 quid (still in Army paint and all original). It was a 50% profit after riding it to work for about 6 months and winter starting to bite. I have been kicking myself for the last 51 years about that! I would love another one but they are just too damn expensive to have as another toy.
