Just had some bad news...
My valintine one needs a service and the company won't send it back to n.z no freight fowarding or anything. Unless I know someone in the u.s it's now a $1000 paper weight.

When I got it k band was turned off. I havnt been up with the play... but now k band is used for cameras. So just a heads up.
I'm looking at something new.
Either escort passport max or red line.
Anyone else up with the play...

Before the valintine I had beltronics sti it was good but for some reason my bike didn't like them. Only half an hour ride and it would need a service. But no n.z servicing so they would give me a new one. But I got sick of that and got the valintine as a replacement.

Valentine one would be my favorite but after having 3 flogged out of the cars I went to the built in Beltronics, bloody good but you have to remember how to set the right frequency's for NZ and after getting it installed into 4 different vehicles I have now brought the RX65.

Valentine won't send it back?
Unusual - he'd not had any issue at sending them back to NZ before after upgrade/service!

I got the email from the man himself. Won't ship outside USA. Says on there website too.
I gave him shit to as they go on about other companies Making you buy again to upgrade. And they don't as they can service and upgrade there's.
Should just look for a jammer.

After having one for so long it feels strange to not,
I brought mine when I got a ticket on a Sunday afternoon no traffic about towing the jet boat to the river, I was going 84kmh

Did you have KJ in the vehicle?
You're allowed to tow at 90kph.

I have the Escort Passport Max and find it brilliant. Excellent pickup on radar and lasers etc... digital unit with gps.
Highly recommend

Ive had a V1 for years, always works bloody well (unless you are the first car on the road and the coppa is using 'instant on' then you are screwed), also have Laser Jammers on the front of the Audi S4 and had them front and rear on the 911 turbo over the 8 years i had that (never had a ticket in it). Laser Jammers worked mint, and were essential when driving the Motorways around Welly, the bastards were sneaky and hid everywhere with motorcycle police setup to chase you.

I have noticed the V1 no longer works on the vehicle mounted cameras, they changed the freq when they went to the new digital cameras i believe. Ive been meaning to get the V1 altered to work on them, but im normally pretty good at spotting them in time. And i dont drive like i use to now anyway - Got kids and a nagging wife that acts as a speed warning buzzer

Who have you been dealing with over the V1?
