    thinking about a quad

So, thinking about getting a quad in 2014.
Do the dealers do finance on second hand models around about $2k?

Anyone reccommend Canty dealers or those to stay away from?

You will struggle to find one for 2 k from a dealer ,and if you did it would probably be as is . I've been looking myself and dealers prices seem to start about 4 k . My mate did manage a " trade in special" , can't remember how much he paid ,but he did spend $1500 getting it respectable & relible . The two wheel drive ones are cheeper mind you , I've been looking 4 wd

Call Ted at North Canterbury Honda in Woodend. Very helpful and great to deal with, just tell him what you are after and he will likely be able to find something that will suit your needs.

(late post but)... Try Canterbury ATV's woodend. Can you take quads on doc land?? seem to be a lot of gates that would need keys.

Most DoC blocks don't allow vehicles or at least they frown heavily upon their use.

I think scottrods has access to some farm blocks that he plans to use it on.

Hey scottrods, I can unfortunately confirm that you can get them for that sort of money, just not from a dealer/

I just brought a 98 Honda trx fourtrax off my mates dad for a couple of grand that has had very little off road use, for the same purpose of ripping around large stations. It's amazing where you can get the things

I blew most of my budget on a Swarovski. So it will have to keep.
