I have had it doing 5000 but didn't hold it flat so not sure, I was just taking it easy first day out. Just testing the waters so to speak

Nice. Very tidy looking. Our last river boat was a 151a with a LS1.

They are a nice boat with a lot more room than the one I have, I bet you enjoyed that (heaps of grunt too) Did you find it useful for hunting?

Didn't really use it for hunting as access to good hunting down this way is pretty good on wheels. Did do a couple over night trips up the Arawhata, Hunter, Dart etc. But more of family trips rather than hunting back then.

Lexus V8 motors are great in jetboats, I've had two boats with them & never had any problems apart from having to change the leads on the second one, I also put a Cam kit in which upped the HP.

Looks like it needs a new air filter, every 50hrs oil & filters & give the jet unit bearing a couple of pumps of grease.

enjoy they are a lot of fun

What sort of fuel usage would a boat like this use with the Lexus (very nice in the Cruisers I do know)
I realise it depends on hull - load etc - but approx lph (or gph)

My gp1300r was 60L per hour at WOT for 165hp

Indicative only of course as a 4 stroke would be slightly more eficient but you dont get horsepower without burning fuel.

Looks very similar to my old boat. Mine was painted the same but had an alloy top as it was made by Hamilton Jet employee & legend Alf Dick. I had a 3.8 Buick & tricked 772. Nice looking boat that 132, have fun
