Real guns start with the number 3 or bigger and make two holes, one in and one out

Excellent sketch. I remember the FN FAL L1A1 7.62 SLR well. It was the issue rifle for grunts during my time in the green machine. My eysight was far better back then so could put a five round group into a match box size at 100 yards standing unsupported with the aperture sights. Nothing special in that as most of us could.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

Awesome sketch - who did it?

My attempt at the breed, done about a year ago now. I should give it another crack!

Dougie, look at the sketch again. It is signed by Dennis Adams so I would guess that whom ever he is he probably did it.

What is it with you and dogs Dougie? Were you an alpha wolf in a former life?

Don't know eh....my Mom is an animals person, Dad very anti animals. Always had dogs growing up though. Something about GSDs make me melt! (which is weird, never met one when I was a kid, never owned one until Jet. Must be police/army dog thing) And you know I am working part time in two different dog jobs now eh? Actually gotta get to work shortly

Bought a copy of the book about the Australian dogs in Vietnam...what seemed awful to me was that after all their courageous (and that of their handlers, of course) work, the dogs were left there, due to quarantine issues (at that time)...I cannot recall the book's title, leant it to someone and it never came back

Picked it up at a engineer/AATTV reunion at SME Casula several years ago.
