    AA and AAA Batteries

    I think it been asked before but I can't find the thread so what are the best rechargeable batteries to buy for garmin gps

    some rechargeables are only 1.2 volts per cell. eg 4 of them =4.8volts not 6V
    take this into account before you spend money on them

    Jaycar have the next model up Eneloops. got a couple of packs recently. can't get to them right now to check the aMh but they are black coloured
    downside is they appear to lose charge faster if sitting around for long periods and less life - but people like me will lose them before they run out of puff

    by less life I mean less number of times you can recharge them

    Eneloops are great. They have at least the same storage as an Alkaline battery.

    The pro enerloops look good. LiPo rechargeable AAs are not really AAs as they are 3.6v. Never tried the non rechargeable lithium but they are uber expensive.

    Haven't managed to find any rechargable lithium aa yet. And as said the non rechargables are expensive but worth it

    Got eneloops from Noel leeming last week.. 40pc off.... Seem to be good battery... I got the pro version...
